That video is fair enough. But he beat Reggie in a shutout, He'd beaten Hopkins, He beat Telesco in a shutout with an injured hand, and despite Dariusz saying he was ready to come to the U.S., it was a fabrication, or he changed his mind, because he never came. regards, Loudon.
 general zod has already kindly taken the time to prove that Jones, HBO, and the Royboy's claims about the Jones-Collins negotiations are nonsense. Jones turned down a genuine offer from Collins. Jones told the media of imaginary offers to Collins both before and after Collins retired, and still felt the need to price himself out . Fact. For the third time, just incase; http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12500710&postcount=349 http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12517817&postcount=434 The blind leading the blind .
There's a good chance he didnt want to fight Collins because of money. Collins, Benn and Eubank had a much bigger fan base than Jones and would of wanted a decent purse split. That all depends on the terms of the offer. What purse split did Jones want? Was he prepared to split it 50-50?
In regards to the Tarver weight loss, it's similar to that of Archie Moore's; Zod. They burnt off fat which has different implications to when one burns off muscle.
I Have to say, Loudon had his ass handed to him by General Zod. Two UK posters giving accurate information on an American boxer. It was a pleasure to read through and pick up knowledge from such prestigious scholars. --------------------------------------------------- Some people give RJJ too much excessive love which leads on to nutthugging. (Lance_Uppercut) Some people give RJJ too much excessive hate which leads on to degrading themselves to glass jawness and ***** streetness. (MetalMandible) But these two men, put aside their love and hate, and dealt with it like real men. Both with justified hate and justified love for RJJ, inducting themselves into the ESB hall of fame in the process. This is what its all about in the ESB square circle.
ESB Tournament in Roy Jones knowledge Winner: General Zod Entering the tournament late, ESB veteran General "Irrefutable" Zod makes a statement in a highly anticipated comeback. He offers facts in a high tempo, delievered with explanations easy to digest. He smother the opponets work with a resonable attitude when necessary, and then goes back to work. His arguments shines of self confidence, and he has never been forced to take a step back. Simply put, he made easy work of all challengers. His victory means that Roy Jones for the time beeing must be declared as a bit of a bullshitter. Second place: SJS19 and Metal Mandible in a draw. Metal "Fan boy exposer" Mandible has fought a hard contest, with good stamina and high workrate. His arguments are sharp, awkward and he keeps his back covered. SJS "Knows **** about baxin" 19 has been on his backfoot, trying to land counterarguments from the outside. While they have made too much sense to write off, he has been unable to dominate. The audience must ask: "Is his heart still in it?" Third place: KO Artist Team Elite veteran KO Artist has been composed and consistent in his arguments. He has not resorted to insults, but kept it real with logic and facts. Though he lacks the depth to advance above the third place. Fourth place: Louden A newcomer to ESB who has showed the obsession required to keep going at it in these debates. Good heart and sportsmanship, but somewhat predictable in his pattern. Only lost the third place to KO Artist by a landslide. Fifth place: Joe Boxer, Imperial and Headbanger Mostly rants with good points every now and then. This content is protected
Erm nope not really your just too arrogant to listen to facts people have given you. Fact: Jones lost 25 pounds after the Ruiz fight at 35 years of age. He chased Lewis and Tyson to no avail then decided to go back down to LHW and had to lose that weight very quick. It's a fact, Far more knowledgeable people in boxing will tell you that. Again your exposed as an ignorant nobody. Fact: The glass jaw theory is nonsense, Like I've said you can take a punch a hell of a lot better when your in your twentys and in prime condition than in your mid thirties and dehydrated. Just because a fighter gets dropped doesnt mean they have a glass jaw have you ever thought that it might just be a good punch? Just look at Jones style he was very unorthodox and relied on his speed and reflexes he did things other boxers wouldn't dream of so it's only natural when he got older and slower he would be made to pay for them mistakes. There's always two sides to every story when it comes to why fights never got made both parties are too blame but again your bias against Jones so you wouldn't realise. Jones also had a good resume especially compared to some of the fighters you mention. You can tear anyone records apart if your biased against them by making claims that they were bin men etc etc He was a natural super middleweight who dominated guys bigger than him in the LHW division and went up and beat a heavyweight belt holder something that hasn't been done for a 106 years. You can make all the excuses in the world to discredit Jones but you just expose yourself and a blind hater time and time again. Most of your bias opinions and that's what they are don't hold any water.
The verdict is already declared. There is little use in complaining about it now. Especially since you were hiding when the battle was fought.
