There's a good chance he didnt want to fight Collins because of money. Collins, Benn and Eubank had a much bigger fan base than Jones and would of wanted a decent purse split.

That all depends on the terms of the offer. What purse split did Jones want? Was he prepared to split it 50-50?

 

In regards to the Tarver weight loss, it's similar to that of Archie Moore's; Zod. They burnt off fat which has different implications to when one burns off muscle.

 

Tarver didn't look ripped in Rocky, but he didn't put on 25 lbs of pure fat.

Winner: General Zod

Entering the tournament late, ESB veteran General "Irrefutable" Zod makes a statement in a highly anticipated comeback. He offers facts in a high tempo, delievered with explanations easy to digest. He smother the opponets work with a resonable attitude when necessary, and then goes back to work. His arguments shines of self confidence, and he has never been forced to take a step back. Simply put, he made easy work of all challengers. His victory means that Roy Jones for the time beeing must be declared as a bit of a bullshitter.


Second place: SJS19 and Metal Mandible in a draw.

Metal "Fan boy exposer" Mandible has fought a hard contest, with good stamina and high workrate. His arguments are sharp, awkward and he keeps his back covered. SJS "Knows **** about baxin" 19 has been on his backfoot, trying to land counterarguments from the outside. While they have made too much sense to write off, he has been unable to dominate. The audience must ask: "Is his heart still in it?"


Third place: KO Artist

Team Elite veteran KO Artist has been composed and consistent in his arguments. He has not resorted to insults, but kept it real with logic and facts. Though he lacks the depth to advance above the third place.


Fourth place: Louden

A newcomer to ESB who has showed the obsession required to keep going at it in these debates. Good heart and sportsmanship, but somewhat predictable in his pattern. Only lost the third place to KO Artist by a landslide.


Fifth place: Joe Boxer, Imperial and Headbanger

Mostly rants with good points every now and then.
