Well a think people will listen to the plain fact that he did win the heavyweight title than your opinion (a daft one)

His facial expression tells you his feelings about the prospect of the fight
How many big punchers did Jones face?

There is an hilarious interview were Larry bust his balls. Roy looks uncomfortable as hell  Despite his accomplishments, I cant help to think about Roy as a businessman and a showman rather than a hard core boxer.

    True.

I think the interview you have in mind might be the post fight interview for Richard Frazier

Already said why these big fights never happened not the fault of Jones just politics and circumstances. Plenty of big fights never happened between other fighters during the 90s not just Jones so if Jones is a ducker in your opinion then near enough every other fighter is Roy was just easy to pick on because he was head and shoulders above the rest. The guy was the best super middleweight theres ever been and certainly one of the best light heavyweights a special fighter can't doubt that his accomplishments are there to be seen.

Basing your opinion on a split second facial expression means your opinion is very very week.

He fought whoever was in line for a shot because these big fights just weren't happening he thought about retiring because he couldnt get the big fights as early as 1997

As soon as Roy beats DM, he becomes a German part time plumber.

Just like Pipino Cuevas was seen as a threat to SRL.

The guy has just spelled it out for you and given you multiple sources to back up his opinion that Jones himself failed to make the big fights happen, give it up, nuthugger. Everyone who was watching Boxing in the '90s knows this and it is why Roid's biggest fans happen to be spotty-faced teens who only know him through his YouTube highlight reels.

Fighter of the Decade, P4P, all of that is made up. They do not issue belts that say either of those things on them and they are the opinion of fanboys and sports writers. Claims such as these are never proven in the ring. What we do know is that Jones never beat a lineal, unified, or undisputed Champion in his entire career and that the big fights never happened. General Zod has kindly provided you a wealth of sources to read up on why those big fights never happened and you insist on keeping the rose-tinted glasses over your Glass Jaw Jones' semen-encrusted eyes. I do not know why he is continuing to waste his time talking to you since you are clearly a delusional Royboy who is never going to come to terms with the fact that your hero is a Glass Jawed Fraud.

Jones had no problem with Don King in the Ruiz or Tito fights

what a joke that King was a reason to not fight benn LOL

Also Jones chin was shattered not to long ago at 198lbs

He did weigh 198 and the next day he was fumbling around staring into a doctors penlight

    yet again

there goes the weight and the chin fairytale too

Can you read? Does your attention-span cover more than a sentence or two at the time? If so, there is no reason for you to have missed the wealth of sources that Zod posted above, far more than a simple picture mind you, that explains how Glass Jaw Jones avoided the big fights. You are being a simpleton, like most Roid fans, and refusing to see the entire picture.

    Thats the one

Roy Jones was an exciting fighter, and it's sad he has ended up as a stepstone for younger fighters to knock out. But you could just see how Larry had cornered him here. Larry knew EXCACLY what Jones were up to, and Jones can do NOTHING to get off the hook, and it's just hilarious all together.
