Anotherfan, fair enough if you're a fan of wlad. I don't rate him. I don't think he could beat the best of the 90's heavies, never mind Ali etc. Roy lost for the 1st time at 35 after losing 20 pounds of muscle in just 8 months. You're right he was never the same. He lost all of his great attributes. But wlads circumstances are completely different aren't they? How old was he when he got knocked out by sanders etc? Roy had already had his peak. Yeah wlad came back and that's what champions do. But again how old was wlad when he came back? What level was he fighting at. Roy didn't come back, but he'd had 50 plus fights and was nearly 36. He was never the same fighter after the weight loss. Wlad is just the best of a bad bunch and he only has two belts because vitali retired for 4 years.

This is the biggest bull**** myth surrounding Roid. There was no significant weight loss and he wasn't weight drained when he fought Tarver the first time. On fight nights for his LHW bouts he weighed 186. On fight night for Ruiz he weighed 193. That is 7 lbs difference, not 17, 18, 25, or whatever other inflated number the nuthuggers claim. Even had it been a larger amount, which it wasn't, he had eight months between Ruiz and Tarver to shed it. That is one more excuse for Glass Jaw Jones, on the same level of veracity as "I purposely lost to Tarver so my dad wouldn't get credit".:rofl:patsch

Try and refute any of that, then we'll discuss who is and isn't an idiot, nuthugger.

You are right when you say Wlad was younger when he got sparked. From that perspective your argumentation is valid. But can it be suggested that Roy Jones is at fault himself for beeing weight drained while facing Tarver for a second time? Many boxing fans likes to point out that this or that fighter never would have lost at their best, and this might be true. But why is it Wlad won one of the biggest victories of his career (Haye) at the same age as when Roy Jones got violently knocked out? I think it has something to do with mentality and how you approach the sport.

I cant argue with Jones accomplishments, but reality is he ended up as warning example "Kids, this is NOT how you should do it", while the Klitschko brothers stand at the top of the world looking down on the rest of the lot. It this really coincindence?

You haven't disproved ****. You've quoted Glass Jaw Jones and his camp and you've completely ignored the statement above that proves he was never weight drained. Your hero is a Glass Jawed Fraud. End of story.

In your eyes I havent because your ignorant as **** and an idiot who just comes out with anything because you don't like the guy. Pathetic really I'm not a fan of a few fighters but if they're accomplishments are there to be seen you have to give them credit.

I have already shot holes in his entire career, you fanboys just stick to your talking points and ignore Fact. He never beat anyone. He ducked the best. He has been on the receiving end of some of the most brutal and embarrassing KOs in the history of Boxing. That is all we need to know.:lol::lol:

It's really only the brittards and Calslappy fans that try to hate on what RJJ has accomplished.

p.s. Calslappy is the worst undefeated fighter in the history of the sport.
