Yeah, that's fair. He had no problem with Clottey at 147 and he's physically a much bigger fighter.

Think he tried it again recently with Cotto, they were talking about a rematch but Pac wanted it at 150 for the Cotto's LMW belt :patsch

I like the tag of this thread, Mandanda appreciates the support :good.

Meanwhile some of the ESB soldiers taken down last week are being welcomed to e-prison life.

No it was worse than that, he wanted 147. Cotto would go no lower than 150.

I just like the way Cotto carries himself, there's no heirs or graces with him, he's just a fantastic fighter who gives us great rights all the time. He doesn't talk **** like a Mayweather and he doesnt **** his opponents abou like Pacquiao. He's just a real fighter. The only foreign fighter I like as much as Cotto is JMM.

British fans love him because he doesn't like to clinch.

He was all over the shop but it was a push that sent him down. As I don't agree with standing 8-counts, not a legitimate knockdown IMO.

The sad thing about the 1lb catchweight against Cotto is that Pacqiuao didn't need it and had fought Clottey at the limit just the fight before. EDIT: Fight after. Point still stands, a much bigger guy who actually would've been disserviced by an extra lb or 2.

I have come to the conclusion that Manny was on testosterone around those performances, so even more power to Cotto.

Didn't the Clottey fight come after the Cotto fight?

I am a spastic then. Of course it did, Hatton was May, Cotto in November. Clottey the following....May? I think. Then Margarito in November.

The point still stands though, dude. If he was willing to meet Oscar at 147 and then Clottey, why not the more dangerous Cotto?

Lot of his fights have been shown over here along with Pacquiao and Mayweather, plus he fought them so his profile in this country is probably higher than most in the sport (outside of the 2 aforementioned fighters)
