They've been brow beaten into not having too much pride in themselves by the rest of Europe, it can be a little scary when the Germans get nationalistic.:yep

that's because the steiglitz's and sturms of this world have never fought anyone with a pulse at their respective weights. like ottke, they grab a belt and a TV contract, and manipulate the 'world champion' tag within their own borders only

#1 because he is pretty good, and is getting better under his new trainer.

#2 the boxing world has a very, very short term memory. A recent impressive win always propels a fighter into the stratosphere until the a few months later or until the next major fight in that weight division.

#3 styles. DA was a great stylistic match for Khan because Khan is used to fighting southpaws (and pretty good at it), and DA is bad at dealing with fast fighters.

Once someone else has a great win at WW, everyone will forget Khan and be talking about that other fighter.

Well it's quite telling with mayweather blatantly ducking him over the last couple of years. Now Mayweather is shilling his fans by pretending that he wants the Pacman fight. :rofl He's pulling to wool over their eyes, he's taking them for a ride. Look for mayweather to fight another clown fighter like Ortiz, Madonna or that Ghost fella again in his next fight.

I don't follow soccer but I heard that when the Germans were doing real good recently, (did they win the world cup?) suddenly everyone was reminding them about Hitler and Nazis.

It's the exact same stuff when he came back after Prescott. One thing's for sure, he has loyal fans and he deserves it because he's always willing to entertain in the ring.

He's a World beater because he has beat several World champions. Simples.

Facing Khan would be no better than the three he mentioned, another poor fight for Floyd and a mismatch.

the precedent was fighting Guerrero and Ortiz. they are also both not world beaters but they were chosen. Khan presents a better problem for Floyd to solve

I think Floyd has longer arms than Khan.. Plus, Floyd has fought and won going forward, backward, in the pocket, on the ropes...etc He might not like to fight a specific way, but he still can and will win fighting any way...

Floyd doesn't stop anyone anymore. He does not even try; he just pot shots and scores points, and his output is low. Khan has a decent chance of outworking him with those fast flurries. In a four punch flurry, the first two punches Floyd will surely block or roll away from, but the following two punches will catch him. Khan is faster.

Well counting his two solid wins I think he has earned the right prior to his fight with Collazo he was not worthy but he's now earned his shot !
