Canelo handled his business, but let's be honest: it was a mismatch.

There was much bigger size difference in Chavez vs. Martinez. The point is, he had a game opponent and in 5 rounds it was game over, Canelo looked phenomenal.

If Alvarez moves up in weight, he won't get another belt.

yes. kirk, molina, lara all get beaten by him. cotto still is a force at 154, but canelo is great at any level, strong body, strong back, puncher, fast combos, great body punching, good footwork. except floyd who is retired in my eyes there is nobody at 154 defeating him.

Alvarez is good at the moment. A solid fighter with nice strengths and some obvious weaknesses. Time will tell how good he will be, but I expect him to have a career a couple notches below greatness. Unified champion at 154 and a title holder at 160 for a period if I had to make a prediction.

he is going to hand pick guys for the next 3 years, but if there is one guy i would like to see him fight, it would be margarito, just cause of margarito chin, this will be a tough fight for the red head

Im not that high on Canelo at all to be honest. I like him, hes fun to watch and hopefully he will continue to get better and stronger as he grows older but I just dont see it. However Ive been wrong before obviously and im not rooting against him by any means its just how i see it. We will see, win or lose he will have an exciting career n I cant wait to see it unfold.

Canelo is the real deal... Very exciting combination fighter that goes to head and body mid combo. He is still very young and is showing so much promise... I think he will be huge, id love to see him take on cotto, kirkland or even lara
