Both fighters I was rooting for won. Neither fight was as exciting as I expected. But that's not the main reason why I'm disappointed. The main reason is that Boxing's fatal flaw once again reared it's ugly head. That was another horrible example of bad judging. Without the Barrios cut, Juarez wins the fight UD. Unreal. And to top that off, Diaz only wins a SD after undoubtedly winning the first 8 rounds of the fight. Sadly, as boxing fans, we are all helpless in this situation. Which is extremely frustrating.
I don't know if I'd say "undoubtedly" winning the first 8 rounds. The first couple could've gone either way, and with Katsidis winning a few of the later rounds, a closer win for Diaz is not unrealistic. Now, having Katsidis WINNING is another matter.......
