But Khan thinks he's world class and keeps getting knocked out. He is not close to as good as he thinks he is, whereas most fighters have some idea where they are in the real world.

 

Bang on...but he's a dime a dozen being touted as elite and also believing he's elite, this is what winds so many people up. It's so obvious he is not. His was knocked clean out and wobble by more bums than I can remember, and his best wins were against guys tailor made for him who somehow got hold of a belt for 5 mins or who were well past their prime. In fact his best win was a tight decision against a green Maidana who was beating the **** out of him towards the end of the fight but saved continuously by the ref.
