Why Andre Ward only fought once this year?..

Yeah, Ward fanboys would love to believe that he didn't fight the very worst version of Dawson ever and that his ONLY fight this year is a tainted victory. Far from truth :-(

Lol, sounds to me like Thompson is trying to promote his unknown fighter into a payday. I'd rather take the word of Dawsons trainer who has known him since he was a kid. Good try though bro! :good

No one in Dawson's camp is denying him being KO'd in sparring by Miranda.

Of course Scully is going to say everything's fine. You wouldn't expect a guy to come out and say "Yeah, it's true. Chad can't make the weight safely. It was a horrible decision to try to move down 7 lbs when he's already extremely tight at 175."

No, I just wouldn't have expected him not to comment instead of saying how easy it was and how the weight was being blown out of proportion.

I can understand Ward wanting a break after the grueling Super Six, but now he's had his break, and needs to get busy again in 2013, ideally with at least 3 fights. The problems I see with Ward is that, while he IS indisputably the 168 champion, he seems to think (1) he is beyond fighting anyone but the biggest mainstream names, and (2) everybody has to fight everybody else in order to get their shot at him, as if everyone else is now going through a version of Super Six with a Ward fight awaiting the winner. This is exactly the WRONG way to go for Ward, he needs to keep busy, build his resume, and hone his skills, and MAYBE then he will be this great towering champion with mainstream appeal that he already thinks he is!!!

It doesnt matter. You dont dictate when and who he fights so get the **** over it. You whining and crying like a ***** wont change that fact.
