mosley vs mayorga winner, a good fight vs a dangerous fighters, he is expected to win, but he needs to take it slow.
He should retire, so these ****en Margarito post's can go away. (A great win into a ****en This content is protected effect.....)
As much as I defend Margarito I find it an almost impossible mission to scout out these guys before they turn pro. So many guys from Mexico have attempted to do what Margarito has done. And so many of them fall by the wayside long before they even reach the bright lights of ESPN. The odd thing about Mexican boxers is that the cream of the crop are always physically more gifted. We say the same here in the states but we do so for attributes like speed and punching power, which can be gauged early. Chin, mental fortitude and stamina are something else though. Those last three you don't see until your protege has faced a stiff test. And even then, looks can be decieving. Anyhow it is what it is today. Despite his rough past he has made himself the top dog at 147, amongst peers who were carefully guided. It's pretty cool when you think about it.
Oscar please. De La Hoya vs Pacquiao is unfair - pacs jumped several weight divisions already and the size difference is stupid. If it happens I'd hope Pac wins but can't see it happening. Facing Margarito is the only real fight for him.....and Marg surely deserves the pay day
Margarito deserves a big payday, give him Oscar, throw the man a bone and he will chew it up. Isnt this Ironic? Oscar became a superstar by defeating a shot legend in Chavez but now he wont give the oportunity to Margarito? My respect for Oscar is gone.
DLH told Arum long before saturday's result that if Margarito won they didn't want the fight. DLH said it was because he wasn't going to fight another Mexican. I think what he meant was he wasn't going to fight a Mexican who wasn't past his prime or best weight class.
LOL but he would deffinitely fight a Mex-American like Mora right:yep because hes only half mexican :-(
I want to see him fight Paul Williams again. But really don't care who he fights - just looking forward to seeig him in the ring again.
nah he shouldn't be undefeated he is who he is and those losses helped define him. frankly i think he needed the loss to williams to bring strong focus back to him,cuz he wasn't impressive against clottey either.but in his last few fights it seems the fire burns from within again.i want to see margarito back in with williams so one of them can be the official welter king.he is the only man in the welters right now who would cement his no 1 spot.i don't give a damn about money , he'll still get a few mil.i am a fan of the sport and like any true fan of the sport you should want to see the best fight the best and be unconcerned of wages unless their in there fighting to pay a weeks rent at the motel 8
