Why are a disproportionate amount of great boxers religious?

    There’s a positive correlation between low socioeconomic status and limited education and religiosity.

    The same two factors positively correlate with becoming a professional boxer.

    I don’t remember many of the college graduate boxers or guys who came from the suburbs talking about God.
