Don't forget Stevenson avoided a payday against Kovalev. Now look where he is, fighting no-name Sukhotsky on Showtime, while Kovalev fights Hopkins this Saturday.

Stevenson also avoided a big money fight against Pascal.

No telling what their reasons are. Shady. This is why a lot of their fights get delayed or signed last minute. Like Garcia vs Matthysse, they'll squeeze every last penny out of someone.

Al's letting his personal beef with Jay-Z get in the way of the biggest paydays for his fighters.

Roc Nation would cut this out if Al called their bluff and let them overpay a few times.

stevenson the coward also avoided a big payday against hopkins as well which is hilarious because that's the whole reason he jumped from hbo to showtime saying hopkins is the big money fight.now stevenson looks like a ******.:patsch

Haymon is afraid of letting Jay-Z into the game. Because the moment Jay-Z starts promoting, he's going to see his business dwindle. Golden Boy will always have their fighters. Top Rank will have their fighters. However, Haymon's fighters are more likely to sign with Jay-Z once their contracts is up.

I don't know what kind of contract these guys signed with Haymon, but it seems to give him the power to turn down fights. It's great for Haymon, but it's terrible for any boxer in that position.

You do realise that he could conceivably fight Mayweather within the next year right?

Considering hes making over a million to fight Bundu.

He could easily make a lot more than 6 million in the next year.

Mayweathers opponents don't actually get paid that much

wasn't Maidana payed only around 1 million for the first fight?

    Thurman is definetly losing money

They're turning them down because Floyd's rich and they're deluded enough to think that's going to be them one day.

That number sounds wayyyyyyy too low.

Thurman is making over a million to fight Bundu!

Edit: Maidana got 1.5 million guarantee in the first fight plus the Argentine TV royalties....whatever they were.

3 million guarantee for the 2nd fight.
