Why are Australian PPV Boxing events always on Wednesday Night ?

    Less competition perhaps. Weekends would be up against other sports normally.

    To maximise revenue I'd say. Mainevent usually have a PPV every weekend of some description.

    its cheaper for Mundine to hire venues on weeknights than weekends... Therefore, the less money he spends, the more in his pocket...

    It's more convenient for his opponents to fight on a Wednesday. They'd have to miss out on Matlock and bingo if it were on a Thursday, or Friday, and they can't have it on weekends because cabbies get time and a half on Saturday, then double pay on a Sunday, and Khodder is too cheap to compensate for all of that.
