Why are boxing fans always so worried about "What's good for the sport"???

Tyson wasn't an olympic superstar and pretty much came out of nowhere.
Also plenty of popular fighters were not olympic superstars such as Pacquaio who also was unheard of until he pulled of the upset against Oscar.

But Tyson was bred for boxing is what I said.

Pac had Oscar to get famous off of. The young guys don't have that luxury right now since Floyd isn't losing any time soon and Pac is fighting Marquez after Bradley.

My point is that many times before people have said that there wouldn't be any new superstars and they were proven wrong.

The sport has lost its skill ..There is only a few elite fighters ,Undefeated records are ways for promoters to milk the system .Fighters are not evolving nor is the sport .There is constant corruption against athletes who risk their lives ,why wouldn't a true boxing fan not worry about the Good of the Sport?

Yeah but this is the first time it's looked really dry on the horizon, star-wise. When Aii was retiring, Leonard was in the olympics getting ready for stardown, when He was retiring, Tyson was already tearing through the heavyweights, When Tyson was in jail, Oscar was in the olympics getting ready for stardom, Floyd got famous fighting Oscar.

It hasn't been the case for awhile since Floyd won't be making anyone famous. Boxing needs young stars.

I like both the clean and the dirty side of boxing. It is what it is. There's always going to be guys punching eachother for money, and guys that want to be good/great at it.
