I did realise my error after I had posted. Was waiting for someone to pick up on it. Fair cop!!! Also Lennox was born in Belfast (alegedly)!!!
So we can add Ireland to the list of countries that can lay claim to Lewis. He truly was an international fighter.
It's an issue of percentages. Britain more than holds its own in terms of world level fighters in comparison to the size of the country. America will always outstrip Britain purely on the number of participants in the sport and law of averages, being a much larger country so we really shouldn't feel too bad.
Who the **** have Scotland produced? Ken Buchanan? Best known for getting banged in the bollocks by Duran? Thats about it!
He is lamenting "British boxers" last i looked, Scots were "BRITISH" as well, so he is having a go at them as well FFS.
I think its time you got out and a map and looked and seen that Scotland is infact part of Britain you genius. When i watch Friday Fight Night i feel like killing myself sometimes the quality is so bad, do you think any other county televises fights of such awful quality on a regular basis, FFN now consists of your average British Bum against a hopelessly overmatched opponent who has no chance to win and if he does we rob him anyway.
I think thats the point a lot of people are making about you. You seem to be self depricating though to be honest I think it's just a bad windup.
have you watched friday fight night on espn. Most of it is the same quality, and to be honest it ain't as bad as you are making out. I suspect someone like you expects to see ****ing mayweather or pacquiao everytime you watch the boxing
Yeah the ESPN version (Friday Night Fights) is much better quality consistantly than our Friday Fight Night which is usually a hopeless overhyped prospect vs a hopeless overhyped tomato can, we should start having non British fighters fight each other to up the quality a bit.
