Why are Canelo's failed drug tests always swept under the rug?

i have never denied canelo tested dirty. i never added, or subtracted, to the story. there are plenty of other fighters ive had to do the same for. and i dont pick and choose excuses for fighters i like while crusading against others for the same thing. i evaluate what they do in the ring and judge them accordingly. even if i knew all the fighters who are dirty, there would be no way for me to gauge how much benefit, if any, the fighter got in any given situation. its pointless. at least when evaluating a performance.

It is extremely naive & biased to believe that those you happen to like must be clean.
It is also extremely cynical & irrational to insist that everyone always cheats & lies, that absence of evidence must mean it is there. Nobody has any integrity, nobody cares about possible health repercussions, nobody has any fear of being caught...

    That is also absolute nonsense.

I have no clue why he is mentioned in boxing forum.
If you mean tennis player with this surname, I did not had hired that he had any problems with tests results.
The best masculinity difference between tennis and pro boxing is that you can't cherry pick anything. Definitely not after first fight in tournament. You get next guy for next game regardless had you played 3 hours or 5 hours or more than 5 hours.
Then next after this if you had won this guy.

Despite pro sport, big tennis is more close to Olympic wrestling and damn far from professional boxing, where each high level fight requires long negotiations period and relatively long time after contract signed till fight date.
Tennis? You had one lad, then they gave you next guy and you do not have time for separate pre fight camp designed to deal with this guy.
Short time between matches, tournaments with 2-3-4-5 matches in row, maybe even 6 matches in tournament.

The best difference that in pro boxing almost anyone with proper matchmaking might get records like 10-0-0 and no joke here.
You might also have 8-0-0 pro record and fight next fight vs someone who does have even 0-10-0 pro record.

All pro athletes are on drugs and there's no point in getting riled up about it.
