:fire Jones vs Dariusz would be perfect. Of course it's a little late but it would sell big. Not only in Germany but world world wide.
I guess if we don't hear anything out of jones' mouth about this then we know enough.

They both are looking for a big WINABLE fight, yet they and their management don't mention sh*t. WTF is this.

ottke was a very very decent fighter.....not a big hitter...not exciting, but good. Him versus Calzaghe would have made good viewing thats for sure.....

I hope so. Because it makes the most ''sense'' for both of them now that they are both ''back'' and looking for an opponent who they can beat.

If Michalczewski wins against Ottke (I certainly wouldn't favor him in that fight though) a second bout vs. Jones could still be possible. However, Jones isn't exactly well know in Germany, therefore the money for this fight would need to come form the US; and it needs to be a rather large purse to make it even interesting for Michalczewski (he gets over $2 million for his planed fight with Ottke).

I don't think that it would sell big in the US. The overwhelming majority of people over here don't even know who he is.

I thought he was very, very average to be honest with you. At least 4 of his 'wins' are up for debate.

Ottke will do to Dariusz what Malignaggi did to N'Dou.

The Jones-Dariusz fight should've happened 10 years ago when Dariusz became the lineal champ and had all the titles except for the WBC which was in the hands of Jones at the time. People should realize that Dariusz was a ‘Klitschko-Pavlik hybrid’ killer who could’ve been the biggest threat to Jones unbeaten (the DQ wasn't really a loss) career.

I would have picked a Jones UD back then because he had absolutely unbelievable speed but even it was the effect of the Ruiz fight Tarver gave very serious problems stylistically to Jones and Dariusz could've done that just 300% better.

One of the most unfortunate things in boxing that this fight never happened.

Dariusz certainly can give something to the audience in 2008 like Maske in 2007 but he was a trash on high level competition the last time he fought, and never could've done to his career what Jones did after the KO losses. So the 39 year-old Jones would whoop the 40 year-old Dariusz' a**, no doubt.

But that fight will never happen because Ottke can do that too, just in an uneventful fight.

2 of his wins - the first title fight against Brewer and the horrific robbery against Reid. The rest are fair.

I stand by my 'at least 4 of his wins'...

I doubt Tiger could still make LHW (he's a solid cruiser now), and it would hurt Roy's career if he moves back up again (i.e. would foreclose any chance of taking on the Hopkins/Calzaghe winner or the Pavlik/Taylor winner). Much better financial move for him to wait until all that sorts itself out, and then if nobody is willing, to make a fight against Winky or something.

Because I know one of the fights you're on about is the Glenconffe Johnoson fight - people who don't know what the **** they are on about ALWAYS mention that fight. In fact, at least 90% of people that mention that fight have clearly never seen it.

Calzaghe and Pavlik, both winners, will fight next. Joe has already said he has too much integrity for the easy money Jones. Maybe Roy can take his final loss to the loser of one of those fights.
