Why are Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev ducking each other?

    BECAUSE:

    1. Beterbiev is getting old AF
    2. It's the right thing to do
    3. Only Canelo would pay them more
    4. It's a ***** move on both sides
    5. Things like this ruin the sport

    Almost FIVE YEARS! No excuse.

Well after 5 years this might happen after the fight with Joe Smith Jr—-Not too bad considering how long Manny and Floyd made us wait

One reason, money. Who is going to pay to watch two Russians fight each other? I will but most casuals will not be interested. Much more money to be made by fighting an American or Mexican (for both fighters). Hope this one happens but it’s not going to be a high grossing fight despite the fact that both guys are top fighters. Sad reality just like the scorecard advantage hypejob fighters enjoy.

That's just a lame excuse. Seriously man.

Not every top fighter fights on PPV. This fight can easily be on DAZN or ESPN+.

Saying that this fight won't generate enough money is a ridiculous excuse. Especially considering you guys are now claiming Bivol is an A side fighter.

I was just explaining why the fight hasn’t happened. Plus if Canelo doesn’t run away from the rematch, I think it will happen (Bivol/Beterbiev) very soon. A rematch with Canelo is much bigger money so I don’t blame Bivol for taking it. Plus it’s a much easier fight and he can fight Beterbiev afterwards. Bivol didn’t make much on the first Canelo fight, he took it on the cheap and agreed to all of Canelo’s terms because he wanted the fight. Hopefully he can cash in on the beating he dished out and get a rematch.

I’ve watched the fight a couple times since Saturday and it was even more decisive than it appeared the first time watching. Bivol looked fresh and unmarked in the final round. Why would he not want to get his biggest paycheck for less work than a typical sparring session? And he can pick up some straps if they do it at 168. Any fighter on boxing would make the same decision. Easy money on a bigger stage.

They don't even have to mention that they are russians.

One guy is who beat Canelo with dominance
other guy is with 100% KO and who beat US champion (when he beats Smith Jr)

So US casuals will know both of them.

    Like Beterbiev-Gvozdyk.

Granted, those guys weren't on different sides of the street. But I'm sure Bob and Eddie could get together on this one if the fighters were insistent on making it happen.

They've collaborated many times. These dudes who shitted on Canelo for waiting 1.5 years to fight Golovkin but love the Russians and justify their duck have no shame lol

Well, it worked out well for Bivol didn't it, instead of getting KO'd by Beterbiev for small money he's going to have two big paydays against Canelo.

Bivol was busy fathering Canelo in the ring. Meanwhile Beterbiev is unifying against Smith Jr. So they are setting up an undisputed fight. Bivol just needed to smack his son around. Had to take a detour.

What about the last four years, what's the excuse for that?
