Why are English fighters on the butt end of everyones jokes here?

I imagine this is what all US school children are indoctrinated with though the right wing media and Texas text books.

Europe wouldve been ****ed. Because Russia wouldve conquered everything until the English channel. The face of the world would be very different without US intervention, I can still see such a large USSR surviving until this day and the cold war remaining, so for that Europe (see western mainly!) was saved. But the US did not SAVE the UK FFS. If you think that you really just need to read some independent history books and find out exactly what happened from an objective perspective.

Im glad the US intervened. But I can assure you any French/German/Danish etc WERE ****IN ECSTATIC.

The UK was doing fine defending its island. No help necessary for that.

The USA pulled out of Vietnam with ALL objectives lost. Casualties are irrelevant. They lost the Vietnam war (or the American war as the Vietnamese call it!). Tragic waste of human life.

I agree with the statement, to an extent, if directed to Western Europe but not the UK.

 

They hate on who we support because of our loyal support and passion.Watch the world cup our team is **** our support can npt be beat.

 

There are some really good British fighters take Khan for example, but people blow his **** up to big by making statements like he has the style to beat Mayweather. Until he has fought A grade opposition who fight similar to Mayweather then that comment will get mocked all the time.

 

That's clearly not true. The Brazilians love their football, as do the Portuguese and the Spanish, and I do not hate them because of their loyal support and passion. I love to be a part of something that is deeply passionate about its cause. For example, I am a HUGE fan of Crystal Palace in England, and I know our fans are passionate, rowdy and probably annoying. However, fans of other clubs don't hate us for being loud, but actually respect us more for being like that. They would hate us for who we support, or because we hate them, from rivalries going way back like Brighton, or just because they're twats, like Millwall.

People hate on others because of what they stand for, like the Brits who stand for cocky, ducking fighters like Haye, Froch and Calzaghe. Its not because of their support, nor is it because of their nationality. Its because those fighters are sometimes just too plain annoying to bear.
