How would Britain have fared? Not as well to begin with, but you're forgetting two things,
1) Germany was ****ed the day they invaded Russia so this idea I hear from a lot of Americans that "If it wasn't for us you'd all be speaking German" is horse****, the Russians have a far better claim to that statement than America. So essentially the day Germany did that the war was over anyway.
2) The USA would finally have to trade with the UK anyway what with Germany and Italy declaring war on the USA. Pearl Harbour would have still happened regardless, America would seek allies, the UK being the main one and in order for that to happen trade routes would have to be opened up.

Anyway, could have, should have, would have, I've answered but I'm not interested to be honest. Let's stick to what actually happened and the motivations ($$$$$$$$$) for why they happened.:good

 

Difference is Americans dont overrate their fighters because of Nationalistic pride. Sometimes its just not knowing any better or being mistaken.

Reason why is USA always has and always will have at least a handful of elite fighters to chose from. Where as the UK doesnt regularly spit out PFP types, so you get all excited about fighters from UK every chance you get.

english fighters are very strong,definitely superior to the yanks. its a lot of envy behind,so they keep on joking.

there are a lot if UK fighters with a good amateur background who will clean up their divisions.

fights are (still) won in the ring,not outside. so let the talkers do the talk.

It'll always be the case as to mark yer level you'll have to go to the states & beat an accepted top level yank fighter but as we know what with all these alpabete title's & home country PPv sales the (Non U.S) home country promoters are out selling an untested product as far as the yanks are concerned & for good reason. It's all about fleecing the locals 1st of their $$$$.

I've always found the yanks hard but fair in there opinion's of overseas fighters as i've never heard a yank say NIGEL BENN was crap:bart

The british were getting down to business with the worst dictator of recent time, the USA stayed neautral and tried to bleed britain (its supposed closest ally) while it did the fighting, while the US sat back and watched until Germany finally declared war on you, only then did you get involved. Hey Arran California alone has better fighters than the UK. You seem to think all those good fighters i listed previously were fighters that just moved to California from somewhere else.:nono But thats just not true all the top guys are i listed were at least raised there since childhood(Nonito,Mares) the rest California natives. lets see your list? according to you, you have. But then americans are biased agaist english british fighters because most of you are anglophobic. You even have the nerve to claim people like Lacy are better than Calzaghe, infact about 90% of american media experts said the same thing. Its also alot easier for americans isnt it, they get everything their own way, always fighting in their own country, its like playing an entire season of home games only.
