Why are fans making a big deal of it and Ortiz isn't?

Ortiz, remember the guy who ultimately paid the price, doesn't think it's that big of deal. He admitted it was probably payback.

“It was kind of controversial, kind of unfair to some,” said Ortiz. “I would love a rematch. I fouled Floyd and I apologized to him in the ring and after the fight. It happened in the heat of the moment. To a sense it is a payback, but I agree and disagree, I guess.”

Seems like the haters in these forums took a bigger shot than Ortiz did last night. Internet fan egos are bigger than Pac's head.

Because he is a disgrace as well and is in no position to complain.

Support a winner and trash a loser, that's the cheapest ticket in sports (and life).

    1. Ortiz is a weirdo. Listen to his interviews after the Maidana and Peterson fights.
    2. He just got a huge payday and lost with an asterisk.
    3. Possible rematch leading to another huge payday.

Probably the best outcome for him other than winning, really.

Ortiz knows he was getting his ass kicked, that's why. A lot of fans are blind. Ortiz was on his way to being knocked out even if that whole fiasco did not occur.

because he shouldn't have even been allowed to buy a ticket for a Mayweather fight, nevermind being in a fight that big. He is just grateful for the payday.

Because many boxing fans just hate Mayweather.

Ortiz wasn't making a big deal in post fight interview either. Why? Because he went dirty first and it backfired. You know when you ****ed up.

The losers are the fans who bought this spectacle and Floyd too perhaps because his win came back to him reeking of ****.

No one wants to win like that, I'm sure Floyd's pissed off too.

I think so too. If not a KO, a TKO was on it's way. I'd say minus the incident and Ortiz would have been KO'd or TKO'd by about round 8.

Don't ask. We know Ortiz is a strange character.

BTW, just got word he's partying at the F*** Me I'm Famous party at Wet Republic literally at this very moment. Anybody in the Vegas area get over there and ask him off the record what he really thinks. He'll have more to say in coming days but we need a report on what he's thinking right now.

Because he is just as guilty with a cheapshot haedbutt of his own.

Fans are making a big deal of what Floyd did because there are idiots who defend him while there are no idiots who defend Ortiz.

Ortiz, Mayweather, and Cortez are all a disgrace to boxing.

Just as guilty? Versus fully loaded power punches on a defenseless target? I don't agree. But everything else you said was completely right on.
