Why are hardly any of Johnny Nelson’s fights on the web?

You’ve never seen him fight! You need a prescription for that, it’s stronger than xanax

Most used to be available I think as I tried to watch them once or twice, it was a real chore to watch though to be honest I don't think I saw the 12th of any of them.

On a side note is Nelson the only world champ to have done it all backwards? I.e start his career with a string of embarrassing defeats then retire on a long unbeaten run

It was decided since zopiclones were introduced to the market as a sleeping tablet , Nelsons fights were no longer any use so were taken down.

Johnny Nelson and Brendan Ingle were properly the best Fighter/Trainer team i have seen in my time watching boxing. Not because Nelson was the best boxer in the world, though he ended up world class, but because of were he came from as a boxer to were he finished off. For that reason its the best achievement i can think of from a British trainer. Their bond must have played a major part in their success, Brendan Ingle was like a dad to Nelson. I think that was summed up perfectly by the fact when Brendan was terminally ill in hospital, that it was Johnny who would stay overnight with him.

Carl Thompson beat Eubank twice and David Haye and rightly gets a lot of love on here. Here he is losing his world title to Johnny Nelson:

Johnny's jab was so fast that the technology at the time was unable to capture it.

He was boring AF, but you know what fair play to the man he has achieved a lot in his life. Had a good career, bounced back from adversity and became World champ. If that's boring so be it.

He fought in the pre Youtube era. As with many fighters from the pre 2005 era, his fights were not automatically uploaded as part of TV coverage. So it would require a fan of his or his opponent, to intentionally upload his fights to youtube under their personal channel.
