do you **** heads even know the consequences of that?

do you know that an injury is usually approved by a fight doctor?

if the doctor from the commission dissaproves haye must fight or be banned and face huge fines.

I think he is injured, but I also think behind it he cancelled because he wasn't going to get a penny. Somebody already posted it, that Haye's sole income from this fight came from Setanta. If they go bankrupt days before the fight, he get's absolutely **** all for fighting the World Heavyweight Champion.

I think people are pissed that he talked all kinds of **** and is now not able to fight.

I just want to see a fight on June 20th I don't care who it is.

And it looks like we will be getting a legit Heavyweight Championship fight with The Ring Magazine Championship on the line.

Haye can fight in an eliminator and earn his shot.

surely a shot at the champion should be enough seeing as though its only his 3rd fight at heavyweight!

No point. He has to get his shot sooner or later, why do it when he isn't 100% fit and when he isn't going to get a single penny from the fight?

I think you've got me wrong here. I have no doubt that Haye is injured, i'm not one of these people saying he's running scared. I'm just saying that i don't think your reasoning (setanta money) is in any way influencing his decision not to fight. I think its purely down to injury...........

The heavyweight division is terrible, it was nice when we had a real champion less than 10 years ago. Now we have to settle for a glass chinned robot, who falls apart at a drop of a dime when the going gets tough. I truly believe Haye was our last chance to turn this rancid division around, but I guess will just have to wait.

I have said repeatedly that the injury should & will be confirmed by anb independent doctor. Back issues are hard to pinpoint though.............

I don't doubt he has some sort of injury, because he has to send medical proof of some sort to the commission. But I would question just how bad it is - because if it's a serious back injury like they claim there's no way he's 100% fit in 3 weeks, he will need that amount of time just to rest up, and then he wouldn't be training and in shape.

I think he's playing the waiting game. He probably wants to see what happens with Setanta first and if they go bankrupt, because if he was to continue with the fight for June 20th and they went bank-rupt a few days before, then there's no time to agreed a deal with any other provider like Sky, and then he's left with no money for taking on Wlad.

If he puts it back to July 11th, he can wait and see what happens with Setanta. If they go bankrupt, he & Booth have got time to sort a new deal with somebody like Sky to show the fight, if they dont' then he's got a guarenteed slot with them on July 11th, a night HBO should also be able to continue showing the fight.

Probably because they are so fat they have never got off their arses and have no concept of getting an injury.
