Agreed. We need to reunite this North & South .....and then reunite BOTH with mainland Britain. We've had 100 years. 'Independance' just isn't for everyone I guess.....

 

For head of population, i would argue Ireland punch above their weight on the world scene, ok no Puerto Rico, but still respectable.

I've been to England too mate I'm not saying there is Irish discrimination going on in general just saying that anybody who seems to make the alignment with Ireland IN BOXING (well, now that you mention it, not just boxing) is met with mockery whereas those who align with Britain are met with open arms (especially if they are successful of course despite how tenuous those links with the Mainland of our supposed mother country may be)

Can that be denied?
