Why are Joshua/Loma held to a different 'standard' compared to other fighters?

Mayweather and Pacquiao are regarded as ATG's in the Sport.....But were nowhere near Joshua's/Loma's current resume after 20 fights.

Because they've defied the usual fight 30 bums then step up model, are they victims of their own success?

If they weren't world title holders......they'd still be considered as a 'prospect'.

Both have had 'ATG' starts to their careers.....

Why are fighters being questioned for providing big fights early in their career?

It's purely down to popularity and profile. Whenever a fighter has a high profile, the hate they receive will tend to be in proportion to their popularity.

Wtf are u on about Loma and aj have the worst and most toxic fanbase that give them more credit than they deserve. You'd think that linares was srl after loma won. If the roles were reversed and Wilder ducked aj can u imagine that hate. Aj is fighting a shot povetkin who almost got kod by price and his dickriders will try and lay it off like he fought a top 3 guy. Aj can't do anything wrong

This.. Comes with the territory when you’re on top..
Although I’m not a big fan of Joshua he’s heading in the right direction of a HOF career.. I don’t like what he’s doing in the Wilder situation but let’s not act like this is uncommon for every superstar outside of De La Hoya..
LOMA is heading towards a ATG career and is also doing everything he should.. if he beats Mikey at 135 he’s in the conversation of the best of this era..

After 30 fights Wilder ducked Wlad, publicly and undeniably.
His team turned down a fight with Klitschko, claiming he 'wasn't ready'.

After 20 fights Joshua has fought Klitschko, will fight Povetkin and has constantly wanted Fury to get back in the ring.
Both Joshua/Wilder have turned down offers from each others team.

Just step back and become neutral.

If Joshua beats Povetkin, he will have the best HW resume after the same number of fights.....
Wilder's resume isn't anywhere near ATG status after double the fights.....

Lol your right people still calling Povetkin a top 3 guy. He is clearly top 2 guy. He is above Wilder, who ducked both Povetkin and AJ. Makes sense. AJ 1, Povetkin 2, Deontay 3 or 4.

Go watch wilders interview with brendan schaub he denied this happened. After stiverne he was injured badly no shame in that. Oh btw fury and specificaly aj did not fight wlad till he looked like ****. Fury fought him after wladvl struggled against jennings. Aj fought him after getting humiliated by fury and a 2 year lay off at 40 for. Y'all weiros love to leave our the details

Wilder avoided Klitschko, there's no debate about this.

Are you now saying his team are claiming differently?

Because if so, that only proves they're not telling the truth about the Joshua fight....

How did Wilder avoid Klitschko you liar?

Did Wlad call out Wilder? Was ever he mandated to fight him and then granted a special permit to duck him?

Show me a quote where Klitschko called Wilder you lying fraud.

It was a good thing Wlad never fought Wilder after a 18 month lay off being a 40 years of age on his last legs already coming off a lost.

Because he wouldn't have finished standing on his feet trying to fight on protesting against the referee. , he'd have been brutalized being left flat on his back stretched out because that's how Wilder finishes his opponents.

And that's no way for a legend to go out. It was better for him to being the maker of his own demise by not going for the kill against AJ when he had the chance.

Those details dont matter, Wilder still did not want or try to fight the **** Wlad as you call him.

Fact is he was still pretty dangerous, but Wilder knew that as he had sparred with Wlad and for some reason never pushed to fight **** Wlad.

Come on ellerbe, show me you can think unbiasedly, you can do it, ive seen it before.
