I'd like to see Wlad fight these in order:

    Povetkin (IBF Mandatory)
Valuev vs. Ruiz Winner (WBA Belt)
Chagaev (If he needs to to keep the WBA)
Peter (Although he won't have the belt after Vitali gets through with him)
Haye (Just to add Haye's scalp to the KO list)

    :D

From Wlad's likely point of view Haye needs to create some hype to match his talk. If he gets a few big knock outs and creates a buzz at heavyweight the money to be made goes up.

Boxing is a business, and K2 productions wants to maximize profits. Haye is popular and well known in England but cruiser has always been a bit of a mystery division and he is not as well known elsewhere by the casual fan.

The risk-reward now is poor. Haye is talented but unknown as a quality heavy weight. A win would not net huge dollars and yet he is a risky fight as a very athletic and strong fighter with loads of potential. To take that risk a smart managment team wants to ensure that the reward is as high as possible. So Haye has some work to do. His work with the media is a good start... follow the talk up with some quality wins and we will get there.

    Might be worth the wait!

Yeah about klitschko he isn't talking about you or your family he is hyping the fight, which in turn will make them both money.

Ali said frazier looked like a gorrila and called liston a big ugly bear and harrassed the man at home chucking out a bear trap on his lawn ffs

All haye did was say don't run

Haye isn't a nobody though is he? Not amongst real boxing fans. This forum is a case in point, everybody is talking about him, because he has cleverly made some noise with his mouth

I doubt he's any less of a name than Ibragimov or Tony ****ing Thompson anyway, so there is no excuse.

Wlad fought Iggy for the WBO belt & he fought Thompson because he was the WBO mandatory who stepped aside to allow unification. Wladimir wants to get all the belts but he wants to keep them too.

Do you think Wlad should just drop the belts & fight Haye right now?

Maybe unless the quicker Haye lands first and lays him out which is a real possibility which makes it an exciting fight. :hey

No. I'm simply making the point it is unneccesary for Haye to blaze a trail through a bunch of fat slobs at heavyweight in order to make this fight.

We are talking one fight, if its against reasonable opposition and he comes through impressively, thats all he needs.

Had joe calzaghe done anything at 175 to deserve a shot at hopkins or had pac deserved a shot at diaz at 135 etc.....

Haye is an undisputed champ so he isn't a nobody :patsch

In the space of a year Haye can beat a top 20 guy of your choice, then smash one of the C.C.C.P's finest troggs. You know, one of those German TV boxers who makes the fight fans of Baveria happy.
