Why are little g's fans desperate to see him against two of Mayweather's leftovers?

i don't want to see ggg against either of those catchweight diva callouts. i'd rather see him fight andy lee.. at least it would be at 160. 'don't wanna see canelo-cotto either, because i know the winner intends to duck ggg.

Guerrerro was top 10 pfp list when Mayweather fought.

Berto was undefeated and highly regarded when Ortiz beat him.

You're full of **** with that Maidana comment. No way was that fight a draw.
Boldomir was on a 20 fight winning streak when he beat Juda and right after beat Gatti. I guess you forgot that Baldomir was top 10 pfp and was voted Ring Magazine fighter of the year 2006 before he fought Mayweather.

It's a sad state of affairs when Baldomir and Guerrero are ranked P4P top 10 lol.

Maybe because they want to see how would GGG do against "elite" ? Question to GGG haters and cotto /mayweather fans, why are they against these fights? Are they scared GGG will KO them both unlike mayweather?

I see, they become "elite" when Borat fights them. When Mayweather does, they're "bums".

It's ok for Canelo and Cotto to duck GGG since GGG ducked Ward. If you're going too get mad at this then stop watching boxnig.

I don't think anybody ever called Canelo a cherry pick. That was actually probably his second best win. It was as impressive as when Pac fought Margarito. Cotto was always a good opponent, but he used to be a lot better. Although the new roided out super Cotto might be the best version of them all.

GGGs fans want him to fight Cotto to unite all the belts and silence the critics who won't give GGG credit so long as his reign isn't lineal.

They want him to fight Canelo, because Canelo is possibly the best p4p fighter closest to GGG's size and can easily make the 160 limit anyway. Personally, I think Lara is better but whatever. Either way, the resulting win for GGG would add legitimacy for GGG as a p4p kingpin the way that the fight with Cotto would add legitimacy to the champion status.

A fight with Canelo would have two effects. It would be a lot like Bernard Hopkins finally getting Tito Trinidad into the ring and getting respect for a rather lackluster reign up to that point. And it would also improve GGG's drawing potential, since like Trinidad at that point Canelo is a pay per view star.

These fights would raise his profile and improve his record in ways that regular title defenses wouldn't.

Canelo is and always was vastly overrated, he barely beat cousin Cotto, he is just a big draw as he has been managed and marketed well.
We all knew he was flat footed, had T rex arms, short and was going to get easily beaten by Mayweather so it was a cherry pick. GGG fighting Canelo is good for one thing, making GGG more marketable because if they fight, he would spark Canelo out very quickly, it would be a bigger mismatch than Mayweather vs the green drained Canelo and the public would be hooked on GGG from that moment onward.

I don't get this "leftover" thing. Cotto and Canelo are leftovers because May beat them? How many undefeated fighters has May fought? Is it safe to say he's been fighting mostly leftovers for most of his career?:think

Floyd's career defining win is over a Torrecampa leftover who's also a blown up strawweight.
