    No he is nothing like Mayweather.

    Devon is an exciting fighter. He uses speed, accuracy, and power. He also is flawed enough to take a few shots and make it interesting.

    Liking Devon as a fighter has little/nothing to do with Mayweather. They are both Black and you want to make some BS sub-plot.

    dont act like you dont remember michigan warrior and his little followers going on about how floyd will pass the torch onto devon alexander and how alexander is the slickest fighter after mayweather or how he will ko everyone with his uppercut.

    its the same with with dirrell, he gets love for being from the same place as floyd while ward doesn't get as much love.

    Huh? FMJ called him out. Alexander is pretty slick. Not FMJ slick though. DA is more SRLish... without all the talent, hahaha.

    It is the same with Dirrell because Dirrell is as slick as a can of oil. The guy is darn near everything a person who appreciates the Mayweather aesthetic would like. On the other hand Ward isn't. Ward is a grinder. Much like Mosley. He fights in a CA style.

    Acting as though their fan bases should overlap is silly. Should Hatton fans love Calzaghe? They might, but the fighters are apples to oranges.

    what the hell ward IS slicker than dirrell, ward can stay on the inside or outside and not get hit dirrell cant do that.

    Hell to the no. Ward is not slick at all. Ward is to BHOP what Dirrell is to Mayweather. Dirrell is a favorite among May fans because he's fast, moves well, and his head movement is awesome. Ward headbutts, clinches and makes for an aesthetically unpleasing fight.
