Why are Pac and Mayweather avoiding Paul Williams?

They ain't avoiding paul williams. The only fight left for pac and floyd is to face each other. I could careless if both retires after the fight. I just want to see the two best of this decade fight each other.

Arum has been through negotiations with Goosen. Even if Arum wanted to make a fight with Williams he knows that Williams price would be too high. He wanted a 50/50 CO-PROMOTION with the former Lineal MW Champ and now wants more than 50/50 with the new one. His handlers have filled him so full of himself he has no contact with reality when it comes to his worth. (NBA asked why Paul should get something like $1.7 mill when Pavlik was getting $10 mill for the fight. I never laughed so hard in my life) Arum/GBP can get good fights for their guys with much less grief. THAT is pretty much fact.

I wish Paul got more chances at bigger fights at 147 but truthfully they pretty much shut him out at WW. At least all the meaningful names. He could have went the Winky route and just faced anyone willing to step up, here or over seas in order to FORCE the big names to face him.

B/c for one reason or anther the kid doesn't have that "STAR" power based on his personality, background or what have you. He has all the skills, talent and ability in the world to EARN that kind of aknowledgement in the ring but he can't seem to get a big name to face him.

He's proven to be very much an avoided figure at 147 and even at 154. Some would say even at 160 where Kelly had a hard time getting in the ring with Paul.

 

Paul's in a spot where he could fight at WW but facing guys who wouldn't really do much for his pockets or popularity. Paul wants the BIG names at WW to step up and answer his challenge but no one is answering nor have they been since he beat Marg at a very early stage in his pro career!

Paul CHOSE to move up to find challenges who might be more willing to answer the call given the size woudn't be such a determent facing natrually bigger men. Yet he's still had trouble getting NAMES to face him especially after he destroyed Winky in that fashion.

Paul could have stayed at WW but a man with options although limited usually goes where the money is instantly....rather than sticking around in a spot where he has to put in a lot of work for an eventually reasonable payoff.

No one is avoiding him a WW if he isn't fighting at WW. This is really simple. Again, no rational promoter is going to put on a fight worth 10's of millions of dollars on Pdub's word that he can still make 147 after he refused to go to 147 to fight Kermit Cintron. Really guys, it is this easy.
