because he stopped morales twice, and made him retire. he's also a completely different fighter. i will be the first to admit that i didn't think he could beat EM after the first fight, but he has truly made me a believer.

    Good first round?? :huh

I thought it was one of the worst first rounds he had in a long time, when I saw that fight live.

Probably one of his top 3 worst starts that I could remember, since he became a "world class" fighter, I thought, while watching the fight.

I was disgusted. I waited for round 2, thinking that maybe the first round was a fluke. Still no change.

    I kept waiting and waiting.

And I was judging his performance, not by his winning the round or losing the round, because he almost always gets outpointed by good boxers, anyway.

I was judging his performance on the way he moved and the way he attacked.

He punches like he really hates you. He punches not to score points and win rounds, but to hurt you. The fire in his eyes. It wasnt fully there, I noticed.

I knew that early that he'll probably be on the losing end of the fight, if he doesnt rally back in the late rounds.

He didnt get his ass kicked. He lost, though. Clear, undeniable loss.

Didnt he get some pillow gloves for that 1st fight? Then when he got his normal gloves Morales ass was grass during part 2 and 3.

There are many football teams, basketball, hockey, baseball teams that have lost a game. How many quit watching them?

thanks for making this a funny day.

haters can jump on the bandwagon of anti-pac and hitching on the morales train.

not knowing that pac and morales have the utmost respect for one another.

so i guess, nallege and his ilk will have to find another thread wherein they will get burned and owned.

not on this thread. pac fans have the most respect for morales. among the 3 mexican greats that he has fought, morales is the man i fear most and rightly so.

morales has earned our respect not just by his gentlemen ways in his victory but in his magnanimity in defeat.

that is a mark of a great fighter. a warrior and a true gentleman.

you can call me a ******* but I am also a part of the el terrible horde.

Well to be fair to all the parties involved...

a.) the 1st pac-morales fight, was morales' last great performance, and he did execute the right game plain in beating manny...
b.) manny avenges his loss in part 2, which to me is a very legit victory, and had shown improvement...
c.) the 3rd fight is a bit of a joke to me, morales was the one that executed his trilogy clause in the contract, but pac made morales fight at 130, and i do believe morales was weight-drained in the 3rd fight.....still manny showed improvement...

Fact is that both Morales and Pac had balls the size of church bells.

Because he avenged it twice very convincingly.
He also beat MAB 2:0 who is 2:1 against Morales and Stopped David Diaz who won against Morales . Can you ask more ?
Only A points loss by a small points margin. it can happen when you fight the best regularly. Why when Roy gets stopped twice DQ'd rightfully once and outpointed once when he stops cherrypicking it's okay and when pac gets medicorely outpointed it's wrong ?
Why when Wlad gets stopped 3 times it's okay ?
You are a Calzaghe fan , right ? he was never outpointed. wasn't he ?
is his SD12 over Hopkins or Robin Reid so much better ? all are close distance fights that did not show a decisive winner.

Yes but Pacquaio wasn't the reason Morales was shot. Thats like me fighting Meldrick Taylor today and knocking him out and claiming that it was I who was responsible for his demise. Thats bull****.
