Why are Pac fans so quick to forget about the Morales loss?

I agree that Morales fought his heart out in the second Pacquiao fight.

But I disagree about the moving up to lightweight affecting him in the Raheem fight. He did look good against David Diaz at lightweight. He was just wasn't the same after the Pacquiao trilogy.

I think with the right opponents Morales would have had great success at lightweight. Had he not taken the rematches with Pacquiao of course.

 

morales is a great warrior. the mexican fighter that i admire the most.

but let us not delude ourselves that morales loss was a forgotten issue.

in fact, that loss made pac train harder and has been undefeated since then.
besides, both showed respect to one another, unlike MAB and JMM who have whined since their fights.

morales is the warrior, have you not noticed the respect that both have showed before and after the fights.

Maybe so, fair enough mate. I know one thing though - the bodyshots killed Morales in that second fight. Pac fought the right fight to become the first man to stop an amazing warrior. He must have re-watched the first fight and realized he nearly crippled Morales in the first round with body punches.

My BAD, it was 115-113 for all judges. You're right HOT****! But still obviously MORALES can't even knockdown a one eyed, bloodied opponent. Outboxed? If MORALES was in that situation, he could have been decapitated! I'm just curious how much have you lost already betting against PACMAN. :hat

Just because a fighter has a few losses doesnt mean he sucks. It is what he does after these losses that counts.

lol this thread is just a troll thread. People are so quick to throw out excuses as to why Morales got ktfo by Pac, but noone recognizes that in the first fight Pac was moving up a 2nd division in only 4 fights and got cut over the eye by a headbutt in the 5th. Despite that he only lost by 2 points. If it wasn't for those factors odds are he would at the very least have won an extra round in the first one and wouldn't have lost.
