Why are Pacs losses as good as forgotten but Wlads are always used against him?

in a nutshell its simple, They HATE The WLAD...

just think Of them as NALLEGE except he hates Pac

Pac turned pro very young, with no amateur pedigree. 2 of his losses were when he was young, inexperienced and a much worse fighter. His last was against an ATG.

Wlad has never really taken on a top-level fighter. He was an olympic champ and experienced amateur. He had about 24 fights and then started losing to low level fighters. Wlad lost in his prime to guys that were very poor to say the least.

There is no comparison between his and Pacquiao's losses.

Both suffered similar early losses due to inexperience and dehydration, and each has had a loss approaching their prime where they seemed weakened and later blamed it on odd things like too much vaseline being used on them, being poisoned during the fight, wrong shoes being worn, and drug testing days out before a fight.

The difference though is Pac has gone on to some amazing historic feats and beaten so many great opponents to make people forget his losses. Unfortunately for Wlad the heavyweight division is a barren ground when it comes to great fighters and he will never get the recognition he deserves.

 

A lot has to do with the fact that Wald had all the resources and advantages growning up who fought at the HW divison.

Manny was malnurished growing up....had very little resources in the Philipines to hone and harest a talent like himself and he suffered in his early career because of it.

Wald's losses were devasting and considering a chin is a HUGE plus in the HW divison a lot of people are still stuck on that. Which is why Wald is so much more tactical and tecnichal than he use to be. Wald use to be an oFFENSIVE dynamo. He's now a surgeon in the ring. He takes very little risk and makes sure he's conservative to ensure a win. Most remember how exciting Wald use to be and don't like his transformation. But it works for him.
