The Batamweight tournament was far more credible but went uner the radar due to their size

It was close but yes I had Johnson winning. He landed the harder shots all night. The Dirrell fight wasn't even close.

do you see a collins and Eubanks around today? besides Eubanks and benn are over rated anyways.

Ward is bay far the best super middle weight today, not yesterday..

Now IF he beats Bute, then he is by all means the best 168 pounder today bar none.

S1 and S2 are somehow self-contradictory. If you assume (S1) that Ward is "by far" the best SMW at present, then there is little doubt left that he will beat any of his low level eventual contenders at SMW including Bute (since the later is "by far" inferior). So the probability that Ward beats Bute should be very near to unity and this should be "by far" the expected outcome of their fight. By the same token, the actual occurrence of the expected result does not bring really more information about relative values, so in the light of S1, the statement S2 is worthless.

Actually, I think that "by far" is not really justified with available data, and a future fight with Bute could finally clear out who is the best SMW at present and by which margin.

I can't wait to see the ****ing state of Failey flailing around like a hate-filled mongtard on here once Ward puts one huge, one-sided loss onto the Calzaghe-esque resume of Lucian Bute, and assumes his rightful place as the WBC/WBA/IBF king so many years earlier than his sexual fantasy Joe C managed it.

    Comedy gold awaits us, gentlemen.

 Popkins you are the only hater around here, hating on Calzaghe, a debate you get owned in every time :smoke.
Now I dont hate on Ward at all, but unlike you, im not taken in by hype. For a limited weasel brain like yourself, its easy for you to get sucked in.
The winner of Ward/Bute would have my full congratulations, but they need to fight to decide who is best, and Ward doesnt seem to want it unless he has it all stacked in his favour as always, and even then doesnt seem to sure.
Odd that you talk of sexual fantasies and then name yourself after Hopkins

puts a funny image in my mind. I think Failey has already had a bit of a fit shortly before he started this thread.

If you think that someone who keeps referring to people with disabilities is funny then I cant help you. Still if it floats your boat

Whats being a nut job by stating facts? Nothing. I guess you are just taken in by hype. Enjoy

Is Ward the man of his era, or do still think he needs to fight Bute?
