why are people blaming Haye for anything?

I don't know, only thing I know is if he wanted to hit Chisora with the bottle he could've easily found a much more effective way to do it.
What I am really asking myself is why Chisora kept claiming he got hit with the bottle when the video-evidence clearly shows he didn't.
I guess he underestimated Davids G-ness and was kinda shocked that Haye didn't back down from him but rather took the fight to him before he could do anything.

It takes seconds, plural, to relax/release your grip on an object? :huh Especially when instinct for a trained boxer should shout at you to form a fist (with no objects inside it)?

 

It would have definitely been a cue to Chisora that he was going to do something and he would've had the time to prepare for that even it only takes a split-second.

 

Why would Chisora have been watching his bottle?

He literally could have had a fist balled and on its way up into Chisora's chin - with the bottle simply having slipped out of his loosened grasp and fallen- before the flicker of motion was even caught in Chisora's periphery. (remember, Chisora had his chin pointed up in a threatening posture and was looking Haye directly in the eye at the time)

 

Yeah I dont get the bottle thing either but Hayes clever enough not to glass Chisora at a press conference, that would finish him. I reckon it was just a combination of rage and alcohol that made him lose control and forget it was in his hand. You can tell Hayes been in some gully streetfights over the years...
