It was the biggest pay day of his career and he banned Margarito from press conferences.

    HE DUCKED HIM!

He didnt duck ****. His eyes were obviously on being champion of welter and he accomplished that. Then went on to earn 3 times what he would have in that margarito nonsense. While margaritos at home on the sofa whining about losing to Williams.

You sound like you just started watching boxing.

He hadn't even fought Williams yet.

Floyd should have fought Marg instead of Zab.

What the **** was the point of that fight?

    Zab had no belt.

No ****. Im referring to his ass sitting at home reading stories by the fire now nursing that 100 punch whoopin he took from Williams.

Floyd had to go through Zab to get to Baldomir. Zab lost to Baldomir because of his glass chin. Once floyd dusted him off he dusted Baldomir off. 8 million? Floyd wipes his ass with 8 million.

    Who told you that bull****?

Floyd never made 8 million before in his career and was offered that much by Arum to fight Margarito.

It's obvious that you just started watching boxing 2 days ago.

    You should just stop now.

The funny thing about all this is that early in his career everybody was saying that he was trying to do too much too fast...and now all of a sudden he's a ducker! :nut

What makes you think that im referring to past tense. I mean NOW. As in he's making 8 figures being the Welterweight king, much more then he would have made going the Margarito route.

    Floyd had a choice:

    a) Fight Margarito for 8 million dollars and the WBOgus belt.

    b) Fight Baldomir for 8 million and one dollars (yeah, one more dollar was on the contract) and for the WBC and Ring belt. Baldomir should have been undisputed.

WBC + Ring belt > WBOgus Belt

    $ 8000001 > $ 8000000 :rofl

    One more thing...

Baldomir had Clottey, Judah and Gatti in his win resume.

    Margarito only had Kermit Cintron.

When did Cotto "duck" Mayweather. I have heard assertions to a proposed fight at 140 that Cotto supposedly ducked. I would never believe that. He is not the type to duck anyone and in fact (look ringside tomorrow night) Cotto is doing everything in his power to avoid apponent talk for his next fight in hopes of luring Mayweather. The fact is, anyone with an ounce of boxing knowledge knows that the person on earth with the best shot at beating Mayweather at 147 lbs is Miguel Cotto, and Mayweather wants no part of it...why you think he is fighting a JWW who's only venture at 147 was a controversial decision to Callazo a decent B fighter.

    If it quacks like a duck. . . its a duck . . . if it runs like a coward, he's a coward.

    Wrong. . .

The Arum offer came with free agency. . .It was a one fight deal. Meaning Fraud would have been able to sign his next fight as a free agent - the DLH fight.

Goosen overpaid for the Baldy fight in order to get futures - meaning he got a cut of his next fight - DLH. . . .The cut he paid to Goosen from the DLH purse was the price she was willing to pay to duck Margarito. :deal

He didn't duck him; margarito isn't even in his class. hatton is a bigger challenge for pbf than margarito. And money doesn't matter...floyd has enough, so what matters is the quality of fighters. floyd would whoop his ass so easily...it would be like gatti except a slightly bigger challenge.

oh yeah, bulldog65, cotto does not pose as much of a problem for floyd as does williams.
