Why are people disrespecting Samuel Peter?

Who? And why am I the first post in this thread if I didn't make it? ESB is a little ****y tonight.

Yeah I think the klitschko victory led to a bit of an overload on the boards.

As for why he's being disrespected, I think it's because his fanbase was so confident/ridiculous.

 

He talked **** and fought like a fat *****, that is all.

 

Peter tried hard but he was up against an ATG tonight. I hope he goes away and comes back as he has time on his side. He's still a strong fighter, just not in the class of VK at the moment.

 

People are not disrespecting him, they are calling it as they see it.

He is fat, poorly conditioned, very limited skills, very low boxing IQ. He is only near the top because quality heavyweight fighters are few and far between.

My original post was actually why are people being disrespectful to sam peter, if you do your research you would see a world of good he does behind the scenes, He's a religious christian man who dedicates large %'s of his salaries to all the starving kids in nigeria, He fought for his people and gave everything to his people and to his president but tonight he came up against the best heavyweight in the world and he wasn't up to the task, does he need to be slated for that?

 

Didn't he also hit his wife or do something to her that caused her brother in law to chase him with a gun or some **** like that?

Honestly it's the same as Pac Man. Once he loses, people will be ripping him non-stop.

 

I certainly don't hate him as a person, that's just ridiculous. I just think he's a really **** fighter.

 

Because his main fans on this board boasted and talked about the fight in immature arrogant ways, and then he put in a performance that was a disgrace to the belt he owned. Disrespectful responses are a given.

 

He never went for broke..
He never fought like a champ, but he took some licks like a champ, i give him that. Reminds me of Tyson vs Lewis.

 

I think that's the #1 reason.

For some it's hard to differentiate the fighter and the person.

 

I doubt it as everybody that knows like Don King said he is highly religious outside the ring
