Why are people disrespecting Samuel Peter?

Peter is not trash. the main problem imo are his associations with King and Gotzev. He has an incredible chin and heavy hands but his poor work ethic has really hurt him, namely his increase in weight. In the wlad fight, he fought with passion and energy. u saw none of that today. he might be done but i wouldnt throw him on the scrap heap yet. i see no reason why he can't compete with pretty much anyone not named klitschko.

I agree. Peter should weigh no more than 240lbs for a fight, I don't care how he's "naturally" built. it is pathetic and I'm glad he lost.

 

He might show up at some point interested in being the man but I don't care. The guy just makes everyone who supports him look like a fool.

This was clearly part Vitali looking good, but also Sam Peter looking like ass. Pure ass. Like I said, words cannot describe it. What happened to that guy who stalked Wladimir? He doesn't deserve any props or credit or anything positive.

Now if he went in there like a blaze and got knocked out that'd be different. But what I saw tonight was a guy who I shouldn't be supporting. I got nothing against Peter personally but I despise the way people fell for his hype. All of the hype around peter is the only reason that he got the gift in the first Toney fight. You say that a guy is a big puncher enough and judges will assume that he is hurting his opponent even if he is not.
