George Foreman used to say that punches on the shoulders and the elbows hurt more than body punches sometimes. He also said landing on the elbow can force the elbow into the body as well.
Folks for the "other side" like to trash on Boo and give him hell as some kind of blind nut hugger, but if you take the time to read the analysis he types up, one has to give him credit. Boo, I venture to guess is not a "spring chicken" when it comes to the fight game, and he gives such thourough analysis, that usually I'm left with nothing to say....maybe just up my post count by giving one of these dudes as approval of his post...:yep, , :good, or even :deal. ****, Boo lays it down so well, and really he gives due credit to the "other side" if you read it right, and usually lays down exactly what the other guy would have to do to beat Pav. (which I still hold the Hopkins loss against Boo, I know Mr. Hopkins read boo's gameplan and perfected it against Kelly:bart:fire:bart:fire:bart:bart). Just most of the time the "other side" doesn't like his conclusions, so they belittle him.:verysad
Interesting.... could be a double edged sword I guess, I had also read the tip of the elbow is one of the hardest, and sharpest (as far as a "point"), and can break a fighters hands hitting into it?
Then again do remember George Foreman is also the genius who came up with "The referee is going to be the most important person in the ring other than the two fighters."
6'2.5 guy with VERY heavy hands, throws bunches of punches, can fight at a distance, against 5'9 turtle shell lazy fighter with power that wont hit Pavlik enough to hurt him
I was a about to give you **** and then read "Pavlik" and realized I wasn't back in the Wright/Williams thread.
