Why are people giving Canelo a pass for his failed PED test?

Ask any bodybuilder what they think of Canelo's case with clenbuterol use... Amazing how his stamina just so happened to improve over the suspected time of doping too, huh?

Canelo has used clenbuterol, and that's not where it stops.

I wondered when you were going to comment on either your Shadow or IsaL account. You are beyond disgusting on this board.

1. His sentence was incredibly light and they did everything in their power to cover up the controversy
2. Trace amounts... You don't fail two tests with trace amounts. You fail tests in that way when you are coming off a cycle and haven't masked correctly. Canelo got popped 1.5 weeks out from the end of a cycle which is why the levels dropped, but were still easy to detect. The length of time that the clenbuterol was active in his bloodstream wasn't consistent with tainted meat.

Don't believe me, look up steroid cycles with clenbuterol, t3/t4 and the likes. If Canelo really wanted to dismiss the rumours, there were a number of tests he could have taken to prove his innocence, but he didn't. He took the cop out and claimed 'tainted meat' instead of owning up to his handlers corruption.

Your theory would make more sense if he failed the very first test for the fight but he didn’t and afterwards he did take a hair follicle test and passed. When the same agency that caught you said it was a mistake I’ll tend to take their word over butt hurt fans lookin for any excuse

Nobody gives him a pass. Everyone thinks he is a cheating, shameless piece of ****.
Some people are ok with it and still support him.
Some accounts here are also DLH promo team. For example, Shadow and Isal

 

He is the current face of Mexican boxing. Mexican fans are hugely supportive of the sport, both in Mexico and in the USA.

There is so much cash to be made from that things like failed drugs tests, odd contract provisions and friendly judges and just accepted by many.

Maybe not among hardcore boxing fans but by boxing organizations, promoters and the more casual fans they count on.

I like and greatly respect Cannelo as a fighter. His management/promotional team though, i don't much care for.

He was suspended. What more would you like to happen? Last time I checked Fury, Whyte and Povetkin are all still active fighters with failed ped tests on their names

 

Guys like Vitali Klitschko, Bj Saunders, Tyson Fury, Lucian Bute, Alexander Povetkin have gotten a much bigger pass than Canelo.

Out all those guys mentioned Canelo is the only one who did random testing 365/24/7, only one to take a hair follicle test.
