i agree about the stevens/derrick fight but remember that these sparring partners sign confidentialty agreements and most also adhere to an unwritten rule where nothing ever is said about the fighter, sparring or the camp(it being unethical) that has employed them even at a later date as their services will never be used again by anyone.

im a big fan of ggg and the fact that many mws dont want to fight him says much about the respect that the division has for him

at one point, pretty much every 154 was calling out canelo.

I give Stevens a chance in the first 3 rounds, he hits very hard and has very fast hands

Golovkin also isnt an outside fighter, he comes in and applies pressure and therefore he will be in Stevens range and may be open for a fast power shot from Stevens

The longer it goes the more I think Stevens's chances evaporate as Golovkin will slowly break him

I suspect for 4 or 5 rounds this might be an all out war

Despite losing to Brinkley he was very game throughout the fight

Findley thinks GGG beats Ward?

I honestly don't think so. Ugly fight, but Ward wins it.

Stevens fought at LHW and SMW, so Golovkin would at least be making a bit of a statement by taking him out in the first half of the fight. Safe to say Stevens will be there for the taking late in the fight.

I agree on the first part - it is considered poor form to spill camp info, but that's not the same as giving an opinion on who you think would win a fight.

I would imagine there's often a degree of loyalty to recent camps and sparring partners, but I can't see that going as far as giving a false opinion on how GGG would do against Ward for instance.
