So what you are saying is that Oscar has a 73" and Floyd has a 72", yet Oscar's reach is shorter than Floyd's. I can't wrap my mind around that. Must be that new math.

Simple really, see this tale of the tape:

Oscar had broader shoulders resulting in longer total wingspan, but Mayweather had longer fingertip to shoulder arm length which is what matters for punching anyway

C'mon....it's only a few posters saying that. And they are likely young and really just don't know better. this is just a boxing fan page. Seems to be very few with real education on the sport.

Crawford might be BETTER than Floyd, but he's not GREATER than Floyd.

Spence was never an elite fighter, at no point in his career. Spence was always on the level of opponents Floyd toyed with on a regular basis, like a cat with a mouse. I HATED Floyd when he was active , but to suggest the Spence win makes Crawford greater than Floyd is just laughable, sorry.

    This is insane.

How are people actually saying Crawford would win? Mayweather is faster and has a better defence. Crawford has been hit before in many of his last fights in a way Floyd has never.

Crawford a great fighter in his generation. Mayweather one of the greatest fighters of all time. There are levels to this.

I can understand why so many get so quickly excited about big wins nowadays. Heck, back in the day we didn't have to wait years for fights we wanted to see - they generally got made and pretty quickly at that!

A big part of it is, I believe, the result of fans disappointment with just that problem - in combination with widespread communication. We wait & wait & wait and it sucks. So it's kind of easy to fall into overrating performances these days. But, that said, Bud & Monster (or 'monster bud', if you will), look like the 2 greatest fighters in the world to me!

Oh, and Crawford is not greater than, nor would he ever beat, Floyd Mayweather. Yall musta forgot.

Mayweather ducked everyone above 135. He is only great at matchmaking, not boxing. If he fought and beat Pac in 2010 he could have saved his legacy, but he chose to duck. He also got caught breaking drug protocols and only got away with it due to the big money invested in his zero.

That's more of a close matchup in terms of greatness. But I think Crawford is greater than those two. I think Crawford still needs more fights to be compared to Pacquaio. But by the end, these two could be more comparable.

Crawford will not be in the conversation of the greatest boxers of all time but Mayweather is.

We will never know who would win if they faced each other. Both great fighters in their own right but Floyd was fortunate to be active at a time when he got to face many great fighters.

Many people call Floyd a ducker but his resume is still stacked with elite opponents. Unfortunately for Crawford, there are not many elite opponents out there for him.

Crawford looked outrageously good against Spence. But I’d still pick Floyd.
