Can some of you explain this to me? I researched Clottey's record and who he has KO'd?? To give you some numbers, the combined record of Clottey's opponent that he KO is 131-82-9 and that 12 of those opponents had a 0 W in their record when they faced him??

I am not saying that he can't hurt Cotto because in this game, anyone can hurt anybody but based on his record how can some of you give Clottey the chance to KO Cotto as if he has great power when in reality he probably has an average power and not a great one. He definately doesn't hit as hard as Margo, that's for sure... His combinations are precise with great speed, no questions about that but I honestly feel that his power is being overrated by some of you.

Just for the record.... Cotto's opponents that he KO'd have a combined record of 651-124-17 and only 1 had a 0 W at the time they face him.

Clottey isn't active enough to make Cotto pay...only high-volume guys like P-Williams have a chance the beat Miguel...counter-punching won't do the trick...

    Very well said.

Also Clottey is pretty slow and i think Cotto will have an easier than expected time.

This is a fight that should get Cotto's confidence back, if he is actually lacking any.

That's what I've been saying too, the guy doesn't have a single noticable KO to suggest he can KO Cotto. Cotto knows how to survive well enough and he's more dangerous when hurt always throwing back. Clottey couldn't finish off a beyond shot, blown up Corrales(RIP) who was literally out since round 7 of that fight and coming off two damaging losses.

Of foot, i think he is a little one dimensional and Cotto has alot more tools in his arsenal.

The one thing we know of Clottey is that he is built like a brick **** house and he doesnt get hurt all that often.

But i agree with you his hand speed is quick and i think alot of people underate his handspeed.

They believe Clottey can defy logic....

Their body size seems evenly match but i believe cotto has a slight edge over Clottey

Probably because Clottey said he will chase Cotto down and KO him.

These are the same type that will buy a used car and take the guys word
that it is mechanically sound even with all the oil puddles on the driveway.

Clottey is going down and he is just being cordial now for the opportunity.
