Because Cotto quit before... Clottey landing and hurting Cotto with some flush shots could bring back memories of the Margacheato beatings on Cotto... Cotto might take a knee again this time infront of Clottey... If Cotto quits that's a TKO win for Clottey...

because they are underrating cotto ability to fight in close quarters,,clottey has poor defense as evidenced by the richard gutierrez fight...he holds almost every minute

He didn't quit, he was broken down by a man with loaded gloves till he had nothing left and TKO'd. Some of you need to learn what quitting really is. Morales was stopped in similar fashion against Pacquiao in the rematch, does that mean he quit too?, there are MANY other fights that ended in the same way and none considered it a quit job.
