Taking a knee is a sign of quitting ... It's a way to stop the onslaught, the bad beatings... If Cotto did not quit, he should have fought fire with fire by throwing back until the end... But Cotto could not take it anymore and took a knee (two times)... I agree that Margacheato could be using a loaded gloves in the Cotto fight and it just added more hurt in every shot... .
Because Atlas picked Cotto to win. Now I'm having tremendous doubts of my $500 bet on Clottey to lose by decision
I don't think the prospects of a Clottey stoppage inside the distance are that far fetched. Personally, I like Clottey on points, as I think he will frustrate the hell out of Cotto, but even still, Cotto has shown a tendency to fade late in fights, and I am convinced he is still feeling the psychological impact of the beating he suffered at the hands of Margo. Methinks too many people are sleeping on Clottey. Also, keep in mind, I think this is Cotto's first fight without his uncle in the corner (whom he had a falling out with) and keep in mind Clottey is tough to hit and throws a damn good uppercut, a punch that Margarito troubled him greatly with. I really like Clottey in this one, although regardless of who wins, I just hope we get an entertaining contest.
