I think it was very borderline. Usyk got very lucky that the referee didn’t start counting. Or maybe he wasn’t supposed to start counting who knows.

What I do find strange is that people are pretending Dubois was a legit mandatory. Like how the hell did he get in line for a title shot and not many more deserving fighters in front of him?

Also Usyk fanboys are talking like he totally shut out Dubois. Mohammad Ali vs Cleveland Williams was a shut out. Usyk vs Dubois was not a shut out. There were several moments where Dubois landing plenty of his own shots. At some point Dubois folded though, but that was expected. I think that was the whole reason he was chosen to fight Usyk anyways. Supposed to be a easy win.

 

Fury better use his extended training time wisely otherwise usyk tucks him into bed
