To me Broner almost looked bigger than Maidana... Of course that might be Maidana just fighting lower most of the time.

 

Broner has very wide shoulders, and virtually no neck.

I also don't know why people keep saying he needs to move down to 140 as if he'd have more success there. He'd likely go 0-3 against Garcia, Matthysse, and Provodnikov and get stopped along the way. The reason he skipped over that division in the first place was to avoid those guys and claim a title against an aging/feather fisted champ in Paulie.

That wide stance makes him look a lot shorter than he actually is. The fact that Broner's punches had zero effect(until Maidana got tired) didn't help either. Broner's stance and lack of power kind of made the fight look like a newborn slapping a Rottweiler, LOL.

 

if you size disparity, pac vs cotto, pac vs margo, even rios is big

 

He had such a size and strength advatage over others before, that power never carried over to welterweight. It rarely does, unless you on the juice or your name's Manny Pacquiao.
