Was lewis knock out cold and didnt move? Look i think pacquiao is done. The last 2 fighters that was ko out cold very badly was williams and hatton in which both was never the same again. <<<<Last night the way pac was out cold and didnt move basically close to 10 minutes look like what happen to hatton and williams.
Yup. Your as good as your last fight. He scares no one. Plus his chin has been compromised. I think khan and malinaggi knock him out.
It's not that just that he got KO'd, he has arguably lost his last 3 fights now and I don't agree that we saw anything like the Manny from the Cotto fight last night. The legs, movement and speed just aren't there anymore. He has had a lot of hard fights and it's caught up with him. Retire while he still is reasonably healthy.
The irony of life. Since 2011: When he still had the granite chin, his skills were diminishing. Last night, his skills came back but his chin disappeared.
His chin disappeared because Marquez pushed it all the way through the back of his head . He fought a guy who had the timing to catch him flush with shots that he didn't see. If Cotto or Margarito or DLH or Bradley had been able to do that they could have hurt him too, but they were all lesser fighters.
Such a shame Emmanuel Steward wasn't around to call this fight. (Manny was there since the first fight) **** U Cancer.
Hes done folks. Remember Roy Jones jr. If he fights again he will get KOed again. Hes done. All time great, but he is finished against the best.
Why he is done?? -His confidence was shattered last night (in the 3rd round). -His best defense is his offense, which means now a good amount of opponents can beat him, because Pacquiao is more vulnerable than ever. -He's got nothing left to prove, and has the millions he wanted to make. -Ask Roy Jones and Hatton why he shouldn't continue.
Stop inhaling the fake tan lotion, its obviously doing something to your brain..2minutes is 10 minutes when you get high on that ****..
He's been looking less impressive in recent years, and is clearly past his prime. He suffers from constant leg cramps, he struggled to land against an old Mosley, then struggled again against Bradley, and now he got brutally knocked out cold by someone who isn't a power puncher. Sure, the actual KO punch was mainly due to timing, distance, etc, but even earlier in the fight we saw him getting clubbed to the canvas by a single right hand from Marquez. (Pac wasn't able to block it in time, but he knew a punch was coming.) That's something that just doesn't happen to Pac. I really do think his punch resistance has degraded due to all his ring wars. Marquez is old, but he can get away with it because he depends on technique, timing and ring intelligence. Pac is fading much faster because he depends on his athleticism and punch resistance. That was a scary KO where he wasn't even moving for a few minutes. Is it really worth continuing and taking more brain damage when you already have a great legacy? Outside of Marquez, the only unfinished business he has is with Mayweather, and that fight has now lost all of its appeal. He could maybe stick around for another fight with Marquez, because he did hurt him at some points, but he might just end up getting KO'd again. Marquez is looking more powerful than I've ever seen him.
It depends if the KO effects him or not. His skills are 100% still there. I've been saying it for ages, Pac hasn't been looking worse because he is past it, but because his opponents have been more defensive. This just generally makes his style look less impressive. NOTHING has changed with Pacquiao, well, maybe after such a devistating KO but we'll see. He looked great against JMM. I don't actually understand how people are so biased on this site. I get that they have to deal with the **** day in day out of ridiculous "*******s", but how can people not seperate their detest for the fans over acknowledgement of the fighter? Pacquiao is superb, the dudes great and it's completley obvious. We're all boxing fans here and the dudes one of the greatest. He's always a class act and always puts on a show. He got caught with a big shot here that'd put anybody out, but if the first KD proved anything it's that his chin holds up. Come on guys, just because you like Mayweather or whatever doesnt mean you have to be a 2 year old when it comes to his rivals.
Manny's still a P4P-level fighter. Not sure how he will be mentally, but he showed a lot of his skill sets last night that we haven't seen for quite awhile. Maybe that's why he got sparked? We haven't seen Manny this reckless since the 2nd Marquez fight.
