but then throwing out Williams' name as someone PBF has to beat? If Hatton is an unproven, overhyped boxer, what does that make Williams when his only big win is against a guy who's fans have boosted his rank more than his actual ability.

Hatton is overrated. He cannot even throw a good straight punch in a fight. And all he does is hook and hold.I knew the fight was gonna go that way but people fall into the hype. I told people just watch the collozo fight.

I think there's only some people saying Hatton is overrated.

If you hate PBF, then you can find something to gripe about no matter who he beats. He makes everyone look like they don't belong in the ring with them, so after his opponents get beat-down, they MUST have been overrated to begin with.

I think PBF will fight Cotto someday - the whole "2 year layoff" thing is just to drum up a big fight in the future, just like after he beat DLH. When they do finally fight, he'll take Cotto apart, too, and we'll hear many people say that Cotto was overrated, also.

you are only saying this because pbf's just beaten him, think a year back, did you say he was good back then?

He isn't an elite welterweight like Williams. Margarito would have KO'd Hatton.

it's Mayweather. No matter who he beats, there gonna never be good enough to give mayweather the credit, instead take away from his opponents. This guys overrated that guys to old, this guys past his prime, mayweather only runs, mayweather can't hit,......it's endless,no wonder the guy wants to retire.

I wonder what the doubters will say after he beats Cotto and williams? Can't wait to hear them ones.

I thought the Callazo fight was a draw, but I never thought Hatton was overrated. I thought it was a tough, gutsy fight for Hatton and a great performance by Callazo.

when you have a guy who has 43 wins and only 2 or 3 wins which is meaningful he is overrated, his fans believed he would beat floyd and cotto.

that's because he's a jww not a ww but no fighter would have turned that fight down and hatton was in with a shout even then losing to pfp #1 mayweather doesn't make you overrated, in fact if the p4p ranking are correct a 140 fighter moving up in weight to fight the #1 p4p should lose. how would the *** in your avatar do at 147? 7 pound makes a lot of difference especially with a short height/reach like hatton. i think pbf would have probably beaten him at 140 also but hatton would beat everyone else at 140 including your bum chums cotto and especially malfaggi

I'll give him all the credit in the world, if he unifies the belts and cleans out the division. Of course thats a daunting task, and Mayweather would rather retire then do something that crazy, right?
