Ref was poor, far too busy & clearly biased.

Even with the deductions I had Khan winning but I've seen worse decisions & there were 2-3 close rounds.

Credit to Peterson for his performance but the deck was stacked in his favour & he only just won.

the ref was on Khan's ass all night. LET GO OF HIM KHAN, STOP PUSHING HIM KHAN, FIGHT OUT KHAN, STOP HOLDING KHAN... it was ridiculous. Peterson was billygoating him and also measuring him (pushing him up with one hand and then throwing with the other) all night.

Despite the two bull**** point deductions and the first KD being ruled a slipped Khan should still have won on points.

Use of the head and correct me if im wrong but holding someone in position with one hand whilst punching with the other is also illegal. To get penalised with the above would have been harsh in a normal scenario especially in Peterson's case i would class it as soft but it goes back to the piont that the ref needs to be inpartial, if he's going to be harsh with one guy then he must display the same disipline at all times. The perfect scenario from last night would be Khan getting deducted a point for excessive holding and nothing else.:good

I will re watch the fight but I do not recall Peterson doing this or anything illegal. There is absolutely nothing wrong with putting one hand out e.g. the jab, holding it there then throwing a right. Its impossible to "hold" someone in place with one hand. Peterson never at any point used the head intentionally and illegally.

    Absolutely agree.

Lamont did at times put his hand in Khan's chest when they were against the ropes and then punch with the other. But this is at best equal to Khan's grabbing of the arm and head on the inside, which he did the whole fight but didn't get a point taken away. Khan should have known better and stopped pushing. At the end of the day, he pushed 3-4 times with warnings before each point deduction.

people are just looking for someone to blame.
blame the referee, blame the judges, blame anything rather than admit your fighter was just beaten by a better man on the night.

There is really no avenue for discussion or blame here, people's personal opinions on the fight are for the most part irrelevant. There are rules in place in a boxing ring, if you break them you get penalised. It's as simple as that, he broke rules and was penalised - there is no argeuemnt here.

Khan was warned from pretty much the first bell and given ample opportunity to correct - I had them even going into the last round and in my opinion he threw the fight away. Khan only has himself to blame, this was no robbery or home town decision.

    Can't understand the whining myself.
He was warned 100 times to stop pushing and he carried on so he lost points. Peterson won the fight fair and square.
