Why are people saying Wilder has a great chin now?

I’m a boxing fan and as a fan we all see that Wilder has some disturbing flaws that make you sit on the edge and cringe
AJ also has flaws so I can’t for the life of me call a winner in the chicken leg Windmill VS the stuff Bodybuilder :coleman::risas3:

His chin won't stand up when Joshua lands that right hand in the first round.

What does that have to do with stoppages? And I’ve seen plenty of dodgy decisions around the globe, it’s not an American thing.

Do you deny that Brit stoppages are a thing?

For all the chin talk, Wilder doesn't have a bad chin. He's been hurt or wobbled by guys at heavyweight. I know people didn't forget that Stiverne hurt him in their first fight, visibly more so than Ortiz did Saturday night. He survives and works his way through it. That isn't a glass chin at all.

His chin took some pretty big blows and he didn't go down so that where its coming from but **** he was lucky he was able to hold on to a much small opponent so he could stay in the game...

He can take big hits but he seems to get fried from them which isn't a good thing.. Nothing wrong with going down if you can get your sense back quickly...

It took wilder the rest of the round, the entire break, and most of the next round to recover. How is that good?

On the other hand Ortiz fires back immediately after being rocked with a good shot. THAT is good recovery.

Wilder has 40 lbs on GGG. And took heavy shots from Ortiz who had 30 lbs on him.

    GGG is certified titanium.

Wilder has just disproven the widely accepted hypothesis that his chin is glass.

It's been tested and passed as no less than durable
